The Greater Lima Region has a total population of 375,872 (2025). Of the 293,757 civilians age 16 and older, 188,278 are part of the labor force. Of those, 179,430 are employed, and 8,848 are unemployed. An additional 105,479 residents are not currently in the labor force, and 82,115 fall into the under-16, military, or institutionalized population.

Educational Attainment
The largest share of residents hold a High School Diploma (40.5% / 103,072), followed by Some College (19.0% / 48,321). At 14.6%, Bachelor’s Degree holders are 6.9% below the national average, while Associate’s Degree holders at 11.3% sit 2.4% above it.
